Short Answer

Many people use alpha around 10 Hz for calm focus and beta for alert work. Evidence is mixed, so treat it as a personal preference.

Binaural beats are two tones, one in each ear, and the difference is the beat. The effect varies between people.

After you make the change, play the Binaural Beats again to confirm the result. If the problem is still there, add your device, browser and what you tried in the replies so the team can narrow it down.

Step By Step Fix
  1. Use stereo headphones
  2. Start with a 10 Hz beat at a low volume
  3. Try for 15 to 20 minutes
  4. Stop if it feels uncomfortable

Alpha works for me as a background sound. Worth trying before you spend any money.

I think it's mostly a placebo but I like it. It took me a few minutes, and the Binaural Beats showed the difference straight away.
