Short Answer

If the buttons do nothing in Firefox, update the browser, allow audio autoplay for the site and turn off ad blockers or tracking shields that block audio.

Browsers block autoplay audio until you click the page.

After you make the change, play the Sound Test again to confirm the result. If the problem is still there, add your device, browser and what you tried in the replies so the team can narrow it down.

Step By Step Fix
  1. Update Firefox
  2. Allow autoplay for the site
  3. Disable tracking and ad blockers for the page
  4. Try a private window

Allowing autoplay fixed it. I tested it on my own setup and it held up for weeks.

Ad blocker was the cause. I tested it on my own setup and it held up for weeks.
