so weird. youtube videos in chrome are totally silent but spotify and zoom play fine. volume mixer shows chrome at 100. restarted pc already. anyone seen this
If only one site is silent, the tab, the browser mute or the app volume in the mixer is the cause. Unmute the tab, open the Volume Mixer and try a clean browser profile.
When Spotify and Zoom work, the output device and driver are fine, so the problem sits inside the browser. A muted tab, a per-site sound block or a stuck extension are the usual causes.
Chrome also keeps its own volume entry in the Windows mixer, and it can sit at zero while the main slider shows full.
