Short Answer

Rules vary by area, but evening limits are often near 45 to 55 dB at the neighbour. Measure at your wall and keep bass low.

Neighbours hear bass and vibration more than loudness. Keeping the level near a normal conversation reduces complaints.

After you make the change, play the Decibel Meter again to confirm the result. If the problem is still there, add your device, browser and what you tried in the replies so the team can narrow it down.

Step By Step Fix
  1. Use the Decibel Meter near the shared wall
  2. Aim for a level that is not louder than a conversation
  3. Lower the bass and use isolation feet
  4. Check your local noise rules

Measuring at the shared wall was smart. Mine was louder than I thought. It took me a few minutes, and the Decibel Meter showed the difference straight away.
